In Aliens? Rootkitty and I saw something very bizarre the other night. I don't know if I believe in 'Aliens', but I wasn't really sure what this was. It was Unidentified, and it happened to be a Flying Object.

Its pretty egotistical to think we're the only ones in this huge universe.
As I've said before, there's nothing new under the sun. Nothing. There's a nativity scene painted during the renassaince whereby flying objects are actully battling in the heavens above the stall. The Mayans chiseled figutes in their temples of beings with helmets on. The idea of UFOs had to start somewhere. The same is true of ghosts. But where? Why? When? Why do these "fantasies" continue to exist? Because they are real. They are occuring to too many innocent people over CENTURIES all over the world therefore it must actually be fact. Bigfoot, Yeti, Sasquatch... WHO CARES? Each culture applies its own name for these things.But something is there! We just don't understand it. And that makes it an unbelievable and unacceptable to others.
Make sense? There is nothing new under the sun. Just our understanding of it.
As a teenager, my family used to watch the night sky. We lived near a major naval air base and used to watch the planes. And stars. And how sometimes the jets would take off on red alert and chase some of these stars across the sky.
A UFO is an unidentified flying object. Your siting fit the criteria. If something more is behind it reamins to be understood.
