Stealing the Covers - 2005/08/09 02:07
During my beginning experiances we had a lot of practical jokers in our old apartment, but this story is the best for me to tell.
I was fast asleep with my back to the wall, and my husband on my left. I rolled over and heard clear as day "Scoot over! And give me some blanket!"
I opened my eyes and looked around. My husband was on the left and this was definately the RIGHT of me, off the bed. And it was LOUD. I freaked out!
Waking up my husband I asked "Did you just tell me to share the blanets and move over?" He said "No...sleepie.." and went back to sleep.
I can tell you that scared me so bad! Looking back at it, it was pretty funny! Incredibly funny! But at the time it was scary!
I'm never really alone. *giggles*

Hi Immrama!
First I wanna apologize for not having realized you're post before, because I think it was a very scary moment for you........
Well, I guess Iam glad for you, that you can see it so easy and funny. I just know, that it would freak me. I don't know, if I would ever sleep in that bed or room again.......well I guess I would have to, if I don't have an alternative  haha.......but still I think it would help me at least to pray every night before I go to bed.
How do you deal so easy with those happenings? I am really impressed!!!
I really would like to hear more of your stories, because its still very hard for me to understand the other side of the universe and maybe if I hear more about happenings, it will help me to understand better.
So please don't stop writing!!!

Dear Shanara,
Sometimes we have to laugh at what scares us most. Believe me, for all that I experiance, I still do get afraid. I think that we tend to forget that these were once people, and that they are just stuck on here with little understanding of why they are still here. Once we realize that these were flesh and blood people who are now just in spirit, we move beyond the fear, and become somewhat comfterable with the idea of them. (I know if that seems possible to be comfterable.)
I think the title of this website sums it up. Say as cheerful as possible "Hello Ghost!" And just go about what your doing.

and again it took me a long time to reply, sorry again!!!
I guess, yes, you are right, sometimes you just have to laugh with them, but sometimes its a lot easier said than done....
When you have a spirit in the house that just does a few odd things, that seems to be funny, you can pretty much laugh them off, but sometimes they do things that are not that funny anymore and then you will have to stand up for yourself and defend whats yours and if they try it again and again, it gets really anoying.
Oh well I really don't know and understand what I am writing right now......lol.
I just know, if somebody or something that I don't understand nor see, steals my blanket at night, I would be scared out of my mind.
