This update is regarding somebody I know personally, but not my particular house; I believe RootKitty will be posting on that soon. This is a moderately small update, mostly because I haven’t too terribly much to say. In addition, I have a ton of other pages on this site that need to be updated.

A friend of mine, we’ll call her ‘Barb’, has a sister that had always suspected her house was haunted. This house, the residence in which she has just recently moved, contained various oddities that even made visitors take notice. Since I’m not her, I can’t say for sure what happened. I can, however, pass along some information about her ghost-seeing cats.

Barbs sister had a couple of cats that would climb up some furniture in hopes of reaching their favorite window sill. They would sit in the window sill and stare at something in the trees. For a long time, she probably thought they were staring at birds. It wasn’t until they were moving that suspected that the house may have, in fact, been haunted. Look at the images below. The cats may not have been staring at birds after all; perhaps they could see plainly what the camera caught as an orb.

Going back a little deeper in the gene pool of friends, we have Barbs sisters’ friend. Her friend had visited a house that she grew up in that’s located in northern Ohio. Both of the parents had deceased, so she wasn’t really sure who lived in the house.  Upon arriving, she found that the house was occupied. As a lot of people would do, she asked the new owners if she could look around; maybe even take a few pictures while she was there. They allowed her to both examine the house, as well as take some photos. Two of the photos are below. The first picture below was taken with the same camera as the second one, so we know the lens didn’t have any smudges on it. Notice the orbs on the second image; one of the orbs appears to have a reflection in the mirror.

So what do you think? Can cats see ghosts? Can a ghost leave a reflection in the mirror?
