Where should I start...I’ve been waiting some time now for the movie White Noise. It was relaeased on the 7th, and my wife and I saw it on the 8th thanks to my boss who gave me a gift card for Showcase Cinemas! I’m not going to say anything about the movie, because that’s not what this site’s about. However, my wife and I did have a great time getting out and seeing a movie without the children.

My wife has been reminding me that I forgot to give you an update. That means that you get two updates on one post! Ooooooo :-) A couple of weeks ago, maybe even more like three weeks ago, we had awakened to sounds coming from the living room. After investigating the root cause of the noise, we found that ‘someone’ had decided to watch cable television while we were all asleep. For the record, we never leave the television or cable box on; never. As for whether or not a ghost did it, all I can say is that it’s possible that some rogue Infrared signal turned the units on. Obviously the chances are slim it happened that way, but it is possible. And no, our children didn’t do it. They weren’t there. Honestly, they have a hard enough time trying to figure out how to even turn those things on.

Ok, on to the update that even I’m excited about! This is one that I can’t explain, so I’m certain it’s paranormal in nature. First of all, let me tell you a little about my wife without disclosing too much information. When she goes to bed, there is a medical device that it attached to her. Without this device, she could die. At exactly 1:39 AM, my wife and I were awakened by a shout. The voice sounded as if it was from a male who was standing next to the bed, on the right side. That would have placed him next to my wife, on her right. The voice very loudly said “Wake Up!” It was very stern and easily understood; one of those 'sit straight up immediately' voices. The word 'Up' had more emphasis than the word 'Wake'. It sounded as if a father was sterningly telling his child to wake up. It wasn't a suggestion, it was an order. There was no question about what was said.

Our first thought was that it was our son, since he's the only other male in the house, but the voice really didn't 'fit' the our son. When our eyes adjusted, we looked around to see who told us to wake up; there wasn't anybody there. Hello Ghost...

My wife, out of habit, looked at her medical device. She found that it had become inoperable because she had inadvertently pulled a tube out of it in her sleep. Although the device is supposed to beep and alert the her when there is a failure, it had failed to do so. If we hadn't have waken up, my wife very well could have died in her sleep. Whoever told us to ‘Wake Up’ very well could have saved her life! It wasn't my son, he was fast asleep on the other end of the house. And trust me, a foghorn wouldn’t wake that kid up.

We don’t know the name of who woke us up, but I do speak truth when I say that this did happen. Something or someone somewhere made it very clear to us that we were being taken care of. Something or Someone that was once 'unwanted' by my wife is now a foundation for a whole new level of investigation.

PS. The equipment failure will be dealt with. We received this unit less than one week ago. It's just a matter of time until the FDA forces this company to pursue a recall.

spirit alerts to dangers Written by patty1019 on 2005-01-17 18:09:13 there are many documented cases of people who've reported a voice that warned them of danger and what to do. some voices were recognized as that of a loved one who'd passed on and some are voices of unknown persons.     it's important to note here that such a communication whether heard with the mind or human ears is so strong as to move the person it's directed to into action at once.     the most urgent one i've ever had was shared by my son and i one day as we ran to meet each other in our hallway. i was telling him what i was hearing and seeing and he was telling me the very same. i realized this, stopped him and said, ok we need to pray for this person. we did, and not long after this we learned that it actually had happed as we saw it. it's our belief that our prayers were needed for this person and her son's lives to be saved. days later we were taken to the scene as i wanted to know if what i saw was actually what was there in reality. i'd never been to this person's residence and had no idea what they lived in let alone what city it was in. it was exactly the same place, exactly. i was so shocked that i couldn't breathe momentarily. i looked at my son in the back seat and he was white as a sheet. he said, "mom, how could i have seen that, i've never been here?!!!".     when we prayed for the person in danger who had a small boy we felt that we must keep her attention on going out the back window of where she lived. by no means were we to allow her to even think of going out the front. we were also directed by something very strong to send her the message that she must go now, right now. she reported back, not knowing what we'd done, that she'd felt someone doing this and she left because it was so strong. if she'd been there even minutes later she'd have surely met the fate of her neighbor who was murdered on our person's front porch. it was still all over and up the front of the porch days later when we saw it. it was a sobering sight to look at.     thanks,  patty1019

Things like this have happened to many people, and I believe that if it isn't your time to die, sometimes if your lucky, your spirit guide will help out.
