Well I never thought I'd see the day that my son actually believed a 'ghost' or 'spirit' existed. Sure he's young, but he's never really been too active in any of the conversations the rest of us have had. This past week has been very odd for him; it's almost as if he's now a ghost magnet or something.

His recent complaints are pretty unbelievable. I say complaints because, to him, the 'thing' seems to be a nuisance. I don't know what to think. My wife completely believes him, but he is a child you know... Still though, I'm not questioning that something paranormal happened; but I do wonder if he's playing it out a little. Maybe he's not. They say that young people, and he's the youngest, have some sort of ability to 'see' or 'hear' things that we can't. OK, I'll quit dragging on. Here's what happened, according to him.

He was in his room playing with his cars. The lights in his room turned off. He got up and turned them on. He then proceeded to the hallway, near his sister’s room, to see if she was in there or if, perhaps, she snuck and turned them off. After seeing that she was in her own room, he looked towards his room and saw a ‘shadow’ moving down the hallway. All of a sudden the door to his bedroom slammed shut all by itself. This was followed by two male voices talking to one another right next to him, as he stood in front of my daughter’s room. My son heard these words; "This is the place."

Now honestly, I don't know what that means. My daughter was actually in her room near the closet, so she didn't hear anything. I don't know what place 'they' are talking about. What about ‘that place’ which just happens to be in front of my daughter’s room? And why are there two males, when just awhile back it was a child that was heard? Do we have like a ghost family reunion going on or what? I didn’t invite them, if that’s even what they are. What do you think? What do you think they meant by our house being the place? Any ideas?

By the way, my daughter was a big sicky over the weekend, so I couldn’t play with EVP’s. I did, however, take some pictures of the super gorgeous snowfall at my house for Ecto Ellen. If you would like to see a couple, here they are; 1 and 2. They’re about 300K each.
