Ok. So maybe moving didn't solve our problems. Fine, it didn't solve our problems. As Ravenwolfe mention, I believe it was her, our problems appear to reside because SOMEONE in our house attracts 'things of a spiritual nature'. In other words, I believe RootKitty is the reason things are the way they are.
We moved away from the old house because *we* couldn't deal with the zoo and evil dead people that roamed the halls. We thought that by moving, we would leave 'that world' behind. Well, the occupants of that world didn't follow us, but we met up with some others that haven't been too honest about their intentions yet. Allow me to explain.
We are exactly 9.5 miles from our old house. We still reside in Clermont County, but NOT on the notorious 'haunted corner'. Our new house is deeper out, and the closest grocery store is a 30 minute drive. We have a creek running through some woods in the front yard and some woods on the left side of the property. Enough woods that a member of the household (Not RootKitty) got lost in them. You cannot see the road from our house in the summer because of the trees, but I expect the land to be beautiful in the winter. We heat the place with a wood burner, but we do have electricity :-) Anyway, on with the story.
Have you ever lost something, searched, given up, and replaced it? Only to find it mysteriously placed right under your nose? Sure, it's explainable. But 12 times now is a little more than a coincidence in my opinion. There's also, according to RootKitty, a female figure that's been roaming the halls. She says there doesn't seem to be anything evil about her, and that she's not scared when the woman is around. We have talked to the previous owners about this woman, but they insisted there was never a problem. That's when I realized that RootKitty is the one that's attracting them. Last time, at the other place, everything was fine until I started experimenting with them. I guess I gave them the impression that I wanted to be tormented. So, since I CAN'T move from this place, I'm not going to do any experimenting until I talk to others about any possible ramifications. Of course Ravenwolfe, TLA, Patty, and some others always have an open invitation to visit. I'm going to talk to RootKitty about other things that have happened, and see if the children have noticed anything.
I told RootKitty a couple months ago that I didn't want to know about a haunting. She told me anyway. Thanks RootKitty. I guess I'll have to go buy another supply of batteries! Actually, I'm going to take the advice of another reader and buy rechargeable batteries. |
