hey tla,
good thought about drawing the people of germany into this group. having had grandparents who were raised by german parents, i have to say they do talk alot about ghosts. they usually did it in private though. grandma used to laugh that i'd see her former father in law, who'd died many years before, sitting on the stairs to the second floor, cussing in german. i described his clothes, hair and all exactly as he'd been, but i never knew him in life. he died long before i was born. though the house is torn down i'm told he's still on those steps, cussing in german, lol. someone bought the property and put a double wide on it. i guess he's now sitting there wondering where his house went. he'd been the one to build it after all. anyway, i think your idea is a great one.
have you ever heard of a book by jenny randles called "time storms"? there've been incidents from all over the world, from very old times to new, which detail incidents which if studied could lead us to understand what ghosts are. some have theorized that ghosts are a product of two converging time lines. one in the present and the other, of course, in the past. we always think of ghosts in past tense. what if? what if ghosts were also in the future tense? you spoke of ufo's in one of your posts but it's been too difficult to locate it again to reply. i believe this may be one and the same thing. time lines converging but also maybe beings from different dimensions coming into ours. i've been touched by ghosts just as some say et's have touched them. maybe et's are what mankind will become. maybe they come from the past, in their own time as parallel to our own. who knows? the thing is that there've been weird displays of electricity in these time storms that some have seen and the time line was altered. sometimes it's altered back into the past and sometimes into the future. seems if you pass through one it dosen't put you back where it got you.
here's an interesting note. i've read many accounts of houses that have appeared in places where just such a house used to stand. only problem was that said house burned to the ground decades ago. there are many accounts of just such happening. then there are places in countryside where such things happen. certain places and not just random places. i know of just such a place and plan never to go through there again, lol. i've been down that road as a kid and had a very strange experience. anyway, it seems that when the poles reverse on earth people have seen things such as this. yes, the earth's poles flip from time to time causing things such as this. i'm sure in time we'll learn that it causes other things that we've just shook our heads at before thinking, no way that can be real. lol this year the sun is supposed to switch magnetic poles. you see, it flips, then flips back. i think this occurs every 11 years. the same is irregular with the magnetic poles on the earth. now, such events couldn't account for all ghost sightings but magnetic lines do change on the earth. magnetic maps of the earth are always being redrawn because they change. now, magnetism is part of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum. ie, the rainbow, electricity......light and energy. in the same way people have walked into different time periods and back into their own there are others who've walked into our own and either stayed or walked back into their own. the green children are one example. another is of two women who visited versailles castle in france and found themselves in the past. there are others. maybe ghosts are just that, maybe we've walked into their time or they into our's. i still can't quite work out why they can pass through us though. or did i pass through them? i now the woman i watched pass through my arm and shoulder looked a bit shocked by the same experience. she also looked dead. she was white as chalk. anyway, who's to say that the same set of rules apply for two overlapping times. maybe the rules are no longer when it's happening and just go back once it has passed. it's like overlaying one circle over the side of another. you have a place where both are in union. step outside that union and you'll find yourself outside your own time maybe for the rest of your life. what makes it happen though? what makes ghosts appear for only seconds and then fade out. maybe there are certain places on this earth where time overlaps with great regularity. or maybe, just maybe it's the individual involved who emits extra electricity from their bodies which causes such an area to open up. ie, ghost magnets. maybe ghosts are not dead people but are live people in other time periods, such as in "the others" movie. surely in our time, someone from say 1900 would be dead while in their own time we would not be born yet. outside our own time we don't exist or do we? how about the reports of a man walking across his farm field in full view of his family and the sherrif and he disappears in front of them all. no hole is found, nothing. the man was said to look as though he were passing through an unseen doorway. "time slips?" maybe instead of being ghost magnets maybe we are more, electrical interrupters. there is afterall electricity all around us in the light. even at night there is light from the sun, even when there's no moon. this is what i was taught in school. it's very low light but it's nonetheless light. infrared can see quite well on a black night. it works on the principle of gathering available light.
so, what do you think of this tla?
oh, i almost forgot, i read the bit about the compass, lol. i had the compass in my outstretched hand at arm's length away from me at the time. my husband and i were both wearing jeans, no belt, and no jewelry. mine spun, his did not. i even move locations and it still did it. we had gone to a state park in our rv and were trying to set up our satellite tv dish. when i'm on a low energy day if i pass a computer or cash register it goes nuts. maybe it's not low energy but high energy? don't know. think it may be high because i have alot of seizures when i'm like that. anyway, one time i was having a day like that and i was also upset at someone. i looked outside the house at the transformer on the pole and it blew sparks. the whole house went dark. they came and put a new one up and all was fine til the next rain. again, i was angry at the same someone, was looking at the transformer again, and voila' it threw sparks putting out the electric. i thought, "what's the odds of seeing it do that both times?!" they came and put a new one up, it rained and i was angry at the person again, like clockwork, lol, and i thought ok i'll focus my anger at that transformer again. don't you know, yep, it blew up just like the other two. the electric company had never had that happen before and wanted to know what happened. they hadn't found any reason why it did that. i saw it all three times and they asked me what i saw. they asked if i was mad at anyone and i said yes i was all three times. one guy looked at the other saying he didn't want me mad at him. now, being a teen at the time i didn't believe a human being had that sort of power but now i'm not so sure. i just don't know. it seems paranormal things always happen around certain people. i'm just one of those people. maybe for people like me there is no such thing as time. maybe all time is the same and we can maneuver in the past, present, or future. some say we go to all three in our dreams. maybe just maybe time is what it is to most people because of the electrical output of their brains. interesting to think about anyway.
